Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, biotech, climate science, and quantum computing domains
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with predictive analytics and strategic recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs for trend validation
- Design and implement organizational resilience strategies for systemic disruption scenarios
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Mentor junior futurists and build a foresight competency within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven track record of developing and executing long-term strategic plans
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies background
- Experience with scenario planning tools and futures forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy preferred
