Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects for the 2026 World Cup, including stadium Wi-Fi, ticketing APIs, and data analytics platforms.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including software engineers, network architects, and third-party vendors, to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with strict security protocols and FIFA regulations.
- Optimize resource allocation and streamline workflows using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Oversee the deployment of real-time data visualization tools for broadcasters and fans worldwide.
- Maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (10+ years) in IT Project Management, preferably within large-scale event infrastructure or government contracts.
- Expert knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management frameworks.
- PMP, PgMP, or Prince2 certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity standards.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead diverse international teams.
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $5M is a major plus.
