Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Initiatives: Oversee the full project lifecycle from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal departments, managing expectations and delivering regular progress updates.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring the right talent is allocated efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential project risks early and develop proactive strategies to minimize impact on deliverables.
- Budget Control: Monitor project budgets closely, tracking expenditures to ensure projects remain financially viable.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality standards to ensure all deliverables meet client specifications.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine project management methodologies to increase team productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the Energy, Oil & Gas, or Tech sectors in Houston, TX.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification is highly desired.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar project management software.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Leadership: Strong proven track record of leading diverse teams and driving results in high-pressure environments.
