Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Senior Quantum Algorithm Engineer to join our elite team. As we stand on the precipice of the quantum computing era, your work will redefine the boundaries of what is possible in information processing.
At QuantumHorizon, we aren't just building software; we are architecting the future of computation. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical application, designing quantum circuits that solve complex problems in optimization, machine learning, and cryptography.
Why join us?
You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art hardware and collaborate with world-class physicists and computer scientists. We offer a competitive salary, equity packages, and a flexible work environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms tailored for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Collaborate directly with hardware engineering teams to optimize qubit fidelity and reduce error rates.
- Develop error mitigation and correction strategies to improve algorithmic reliability.
- Translate complex quantum mechanical theories into scalable, production-ready software code.
- Conduct rigorous performance analysis and benchmarking of quantum vs. classical approaches.
- Lead research initiatives to explore novel applications in quantum chemistry and materials science.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics (Dirac notation, superposition, entanglement).
- Experience with High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments and cloud-based quantum simulators.
- Track record of publishing research or contributing to open-source quantum computing projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
