Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead development of quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Research and prototype novel quantum computing architectures
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing best practices
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for commercial deployment
- Author technical white papers and contribute to open-source quantum projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware integration
- Expertise in Python, Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and information theory
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
