Job Description
Are you ready to define the technological landscape of the future? 2026 Innovations is at the forefront of post-silicon computing, building the infrastructure that will power the next decade of digital evolution. We are seeking a visionary Senior Quantum Systems Architect to lead our core R&D division.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical software engineering. You won't just be maintaining legacy systems; you will architect the neural interfaces and quantum processors that define the 2026 stack. Join a team of elite engineers and researchers committed to pushing the boundaries of what is computationally possible.
Why join us?
- Work on cutting-edge technology with a direct impact on the future of AI and computing.
- Competitive equity package and performance bonuses.
- Flexible remote-first culture with state-of-the-art equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum circuit architectures for large-scale data processing and optimization problems.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to optimize qubit coherence and error correction protocols.
- Develop high-level software abstractions to make quantum computing accessible to classical machine learning engineers.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior architects in quantum algorithms and quantum software development kits (QSDKs).
- Conduct feasibility studies for next-generation computing paradigms, including neuromorphic and photonic computing.
- Ensure system security and scalability across heterogeneous quantum and classical environments.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software architecture, with specific experience in quantum computing or high-performance computing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and assembly-level quantum assembly.
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (QFT, Grover's, Shor's) and quantum error mitigation techniques.
- Experience with quantum software development frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, Azure Quantum).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced R&D environment.
