The Role:
As our Senior SEO Specialist, you will be the architect of our digital visibility. You will optimize client websites, conduct deep technical audits, and craft strategies that dominate local search results in Detroit and the surrounding Illinois area.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and traffic volume.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify high-value opportunities.
- Perform technical SEO audits, including site speed, mobile-friendliness, and schema markup implementation.
- Collaborate with content creators to optimize on-page elements for maximum relevance and engagement.
- Monitor search engine algorithm updates and adjust strategies to maintain compliance.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics using Google Analytics and Search Console to provide actionable insights.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a track record of improving organic rankings.
- Mastery of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Google Search Console.
- Strong technical understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Valid driver’s license (for occasional client meetings in the Detroit/Michigan area).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
