The Role
As our Senior SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies that improve our clients' search engine rankings and drive qualified traffic. You will work closely with content creators and web developers to ensure technical excellence and high-quality content delivery.
Responsibilities
- Technical SEO: Conduct comprehensive technical audits to identify and fix issues that hinder site performance and indexing.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement data-driven SEO strategies to increase organic visibility and keyword rankings.
- Content Optimization: Collaborate with content teams to optimize on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, headers) for target keywords.
- Link Building: Execute white-hat link building campaigns to improve domain authority and referral traffic.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) using Google Analytics and Search Console; provide regular performance reports.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor strategies and market trends to stay ahead of the curve.
- Site Architecture: Advise on site structure and navigation to improve user experience and crawlability.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in SEO, preferably in a digital agency or marketing environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiar with CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal.
- Tools: Proficient in using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, and Search Console.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our Philadelphia, PA office (Hybrid model available).
