Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native applications using AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Lead technical architecture reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD best practices
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
- Drive DevOps initiatives including containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and monitoring
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders and provide thought leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, Go)
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and serverless architectures
- Proven experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Proficient with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
