Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS and Docker
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices across the engineering team
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize system performance and ensure 99.99% uptime for critical applications
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent the company at tech conferences
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Kubernetes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in Python/Java/Go
- Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Strong background in RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Proven track record of shipping production systems at scale
- Excellent problem-solving skills and passion for clean, maintainable code
