Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes for high-transaction financial APIs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins and Terraform to reduce deployment time by 40%
- Mentor junior engineers through our structured growth program and tech lunch series
- Conduct quarterly architecture reviews with CTO to align with strategic roadmap
- Drive security-first development practices with OWASP top 10 compliance
- Collaborate with UX team to implement responsive React web applications
- Analyze production metrics using Datadog to proactively identify system bottlenecks
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in distributed systems with 3+ years in cloud-native development
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with strong algorithm fundamentals
- AWS/Azure certification with hands-on experience in Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB
- Proven track record leading projects with complex SLA requirements (99.99% uptime)
- Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Strong understanding of financial industry compliance (PCI-DSS, SOX)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
