Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation using AWS
- Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable backend systems
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive sprint deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience)
- Expert proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Proven track record of building high-throughput distributed systems
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching strategies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
