Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud services
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct thorough testing including unit, integration, and performance validation
- Drive security best practices across all development lifecycle stages
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Proven track record of leading complex projects from conception to deployment
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
