Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS/GCP
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical workshops
- Lead migration of legacy systems to modern architectures
- Optimize database performance for terabyte-scale data pipelines
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical community events
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Java/Python/Go)
- Expertise in distributed systems and RESTful API design
- Strong understanding of security best practices (OAuth, JWT, encryption)
- Proven track record leading projects from conception to deployment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, PyTest) and TDD methodologies
