Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize application performance and resolve complex system issues
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and maintain robust infrastructure on AWS
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
- Lead architectural discussions and technical decision-making processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases (SQL)
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and DevOps practices
- Proven track record of delivering high-performance, scalable systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Preferred: Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture experience
