Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable cloud-based applications serving federal and commercial clients
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical workshops
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on aggressive timelines
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and optimize system performance
- Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with federal standards
- Lead technical discovery sessions with key stakeholders
- Contribute to open-source initiatives that benefit the DC tech ecosystem
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
- Experience with federal contracting and security clearance preferred
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects from concept to deployment
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
