Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-availability microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Mentor 3+ engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.99% deployment success rate
- Lead technical debt reduction initiatives across 15+ repositories
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct quarterly architecture reviews with CTO and VP of Engineering
- Represent engineering at client-facing technical workshops
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in backend development with Go/Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers
- Strong background in CI/CD automation and DevOps practices
- Experience with event-driven systems and message queues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Published contributions to open-source projects (GitHub portfolio required)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design experience
