Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using AWS and Kubernetes
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct performance tuning and security vulnerability assessments
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend development (Java/Python)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Proven track record of architecting high-traffic systems (>1M users)
- Strong background in Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- CI/CD proficiency with Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
