Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of cloud-native microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize system performance and conduct thorough security audits
- Drive adoption of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) in production environments
- Participate in quarterly tech talks and contribute to open-source projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript frameworks
- Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA
- Proven track record of delivering scalable cloud solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system architecture experience
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred
