Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and develop robust, scalable web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and cloud technologies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; conduct thorough code reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize application performance, and implement scalable solutions to improve user experience.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
- Testing & Deployment: Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipeline management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is accepted.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on full-stack or backend technologies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, and SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Tools: Experience with version control systems (Git), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Columbus, Ohio.
