Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Technical Roadmap: Define and execute the architectural vision for the 2026 Horizon Project, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- System Design & Scalability: Design highly available, distributed systems capable of handling millions of concurrent users.
- Cloud Architecture: Oversee the migration and optimization of infrastructure on AWS/Azure, ensuring cost-efficiency and security compliance.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide a team of senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in legacy systems and architect modern replacements to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in microservices architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with experience in building scalable APIs.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex technical challenges and delivering projects on time.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
