- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential technical bottlenecks and implement robust contingency plans to ensure 99.99% uptime during match days.
- Agile Transformation: Drive Agile methodologies across cross-functional teams of network engineers, software developers, and cybersecurity experts.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party technology partners to ensure compliance with strict event protocols.
- Legacy System Integration: Modernize existing infrastructure while maintaining backward compatibility for historical data retrieval.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in technical project management, specifically within large-scale infrastructure or event technology.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Kubernetes, and high-performance networking protocols.
- Certification: PMP, PgMP, or similar advanced project management certification is required.
- Event Experience: Demonstrated history of working on major global events or Fortune 500 infrastructure projects.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical jargon into clear business value for executive stakeholders.
