Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, societal patterns, and disruptive forces shaping 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 5-10 year strategic roadmaps with quantifiable impact metrics
- Partner with R&D and product teams to embed future insights into innovation pipelines
- Design and execute foresight workshops for executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Produce high-impact strategic whitepapers and future-state visualizations for internal and external audiences
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Champion ethical innovation practices while navigating complex future dilemmas
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Future Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Experience designing and facilitating executive-level foresight workshops
- Portfolio demonstrating future-oriented projects with measurable outcomes
