Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Collaborate with the board and executive team to establish a comprehensive technology and product strategy for the year 2026 and beyond.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., advanced AI, quantum computing, next-gen biotech) and lead internal pilot programs.
- Strategic Planning: Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and internal capabilities to recommend high-value investment opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Manage and mentor a diverse team of futurists, data scientists, and strategic planners to execute long-term visions.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex strategic concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring buy-in for high-risk, high-reward projects.
- Future-Proofing: Assess regulatory and ethical implications of new technologies to ensure sustainable and responsible growth.
Qualifications
- Executive Leadership Experience: Minimum 10+ years in a strategic role (CTO, VP of Engineering, or Director of Strategy) within a Fortune 500 or high-growth tech company.
- Visionary Thinking: Proven ability to anticipate market shifts and translate them into actionable strategic plans with a 5-10 year horizon.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of emerging tech stacks and digital transformation trends relevant to 2026.
- MBA or Advanced Degree: Preferred; a Masterβs degree in Business Administration, Technology Policy, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate complex strategies in clear, persuasive language for diverse audiences.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated history of solving complex, systemic problems through innovative solutions.
