Responsibilities
- Lead engaging activities for campers aged 6-12
- Ensure safety during outdoor adventures and field trips
- Collaborate with fellow counselors to plan daily programs
- Maintain clean and organized activity spaces
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Assist with camp check-in/check-out procedures
- Model positive behavior and teamwork
Qualifications
- Must be 15-18 years old
- Available for weekday shifts (June-August)
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (training provided)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather
- Experience working with children preferred
- Reliable transportation to Detroit locations
- Positive attitude and team player mindset
