Responsibilities
- Facilitate outdoor recreation activities (hiking, sports, nature exploration)
- Lead creative arts and STEM workshops
- Ensure participant safety and wellbeing at all times
- Communicate effectively with teens and parents
- Assist with daily program setup and cleanup
- Document attendance and program outcomes
- Collaborate with fellow counselors and program directors
Qualifications
- Must be 16-19 years old and a Philadelphia resident
- High school student or recent graduate
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working with children/teens preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to program sites
- Positive attitude and passion for youth development
