Responsibilities
- Design integrated renewable energy systems (solar/wind/hydrogen) for urban smart grids
- Develop AI-optimized energy storage solutions using next-gen battery tech
- Lead carbon-neutral infrastructure projects across commercial and municipal sectors
- Create predictive models for energy demand/supply balancing using quantum computing
- Partner with federal agencies on DOE decarbonization initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers through our 'Sustainable Futures' program
- Present findings at international climate forums including COP summits
Qualifications
- MS in Renewable Energy Engineering or Environmental Systems (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in energy systems design with 3+ years in smart grid integration
- Expertise in energy storage technologies (solid-state batteries, flow cells)
- Proficiency in energy modeling tools (HOMER, EnergyPlus) and Python/R
- Certification in LEED AP or BREEAM sustainability standards
- Published research in peer-reviewed energy journals
- Experience with DOE/NREL grant applications and compliance
