Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital sign measurement, and ECG procedures
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment and examination rooms
- Coordinate patient education and discharge instructions
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingual proficiency highly desirable
- Albuquerque residency required for local hiring priority
