Responsibilities
Assist physicians with patient examinations and medical proceduresPrepare patients for examinations, including vital sign measurements and history documentationAdminister medications and injections as directed by providersPerform basic laboratory tests and specimen collectionManage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentialityCoordinate patient flow and appointment schedulingProvide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced settingProficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA complianceExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressureHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCurrent CPR/BLS certification
