Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Optimize system performance with load testing and database indexing strategies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventative measures
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders with clear documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with Java, Python, or Go in production environments
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers
- Strong background in RESTful API design and security best practices
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system architecture projects
