Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load and unload trucks, freight, and cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy against bills of lading and packing lists.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards and OSHA regulations.
- System Operation: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and process orders efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure proper packaging to prevent loss during transit.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other departments to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age to operate machinery.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting and verifying inventory.
- Communication: Basic reading and math skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions clearly.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Driving: Valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required for all roles.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training.
