Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs and basic diagnostic tests
- Prepare and maintain medical records accurately
- Administer medications and injections under supervision
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Ensure sterile equipment and clean exam rooms
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or RMA required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Valid Indiana driver's license for travel between sites
