Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention strategies
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital safety policies
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and process enhancements
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (compact license accepted)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting
- BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-acuity environments
