Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including vital signs monitoring and medication assistance
- Maintain accurate health records using our digital documentation system
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless weekend coverage
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during weekend visits
- Participate in weekend staff training and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current California CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in healthcare setting
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun shifts 6am-10pm)
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Proficient with EHR systems and digital health tools
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
