Responsibilities
- Provide critical care assessment for ER patients including trauma, cardiac, and stroke cases
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using Epic EHR documentation
- Administer medications and treatments with precise dosage calculations
- Maintain patient safety protocols during high-acuity interventions
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
- Educate patients and families on discharge plans
- Adhere to JCAHO and CMS regulatory standards
Qualifications
- CA RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years ER/trauma experience
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
- Experience with emergency triage systems
- Strong critical thinking under pressure
- Electronic health record proficiency
