Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 15+ nursing staff in fast-paced urgent care environment
- Implement and maintain JCAHO compliance protocols
- Conduct performance evaluations and mentorship for nursing team
- Develop departmental budgets and inventory management systems
- Coordinate with physicians to optimize patient flow and care protocols
- Lead emergency response procedures and disaster preparedness
- Utilize Epic EMR systems for documentation and reporting
Qualifications
- CA RN license with current BLS/ACLS certifications
- Minimum 5 years ER/urgent care experience
- 2+ years supervisory or charge nurse experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (MSN preferred)
- Strong knowledge of urgent care protocols and triage systems
- Experience with Epic EMR and healthcare analytics
- Excellent conflict resolution and team leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
