Responsibilities
- Provide advanced emergency care to patients across diverse age groups
- Assess critical conditions and implement rapid intervention protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Supervise nursing assistants and coordinate patient flow
- Participate in trauma response and disaster preparedness
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Strong triage and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- EMR proficiency (EPIC preferred)
