Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in high-acuity Emergency Department setting
- Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for diverse patient populations
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EHR system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in trauma activations and critical care interventions
- Maintain strict adherence to JCAHO and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Current Florida RN license (or compact license with quick endorsement)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 5+ years ED experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency intervention skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Spanish bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
