Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move inventory.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, sort, and process incoming and outgoing shipments using handheld scanners.
- Stock Organization: Maintain accurate stock levels by organizing shelves and storage areas efficiently.
- Packing & Labeling: Prepare products for shipment, ensuring all packaging is secure and labels are correct.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory management is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well within a team setting.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
