Responsibilities
- Efficiently receive, inspect, and sort incoming merchandise to ensure accuracy and safety standards are met.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move stock within the facility.
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and weight distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory checks to verify stock levels against the management system.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Report any damaged goods or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory management is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate counting and pricing of merchandise.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
