Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and inspect goods for damage.
- System Operation: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and update stock levels.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to meet daily production targets.
- Quality Control: Ensure all packaging is secure and ready for shipment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and consistent attendance record.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred).
- Background: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
