Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload shipments.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate inventory counts, stock shelves, and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages.
- Packaging: Properly package, label, and prepare products for shipment using standard packing materials.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all outgoing orders meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable method of transportation and be available for full-time hours.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting inventory and processing orders.
- Communication: Basic verbal and written communication skills to follow instructions and report issues.
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime if necessary.
