Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare orders for shipment using warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company and regulatory standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to optimize workflow and meet daily targets.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently manage inbound and outbound freight using loading docks and conveyor systems.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
- Reliability: History of consistent attendance and punctuality is required.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory and shipping calculations.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, based on business needs.
- Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
