Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and label orders to meet daily shipping targets with high accuracy.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to ensure smooth workflow during peak weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday (2 shifts per week).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and maintain order in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
