Responsibilities
- Perform safe and efficient loading, unloading, and staging of freight using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Conduct accurate inventory counts and maintain precise records in the warehouse management system.
- Ensure the work area adheres to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and report discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Operate handheld scanners and computer terminals to process shipping documents accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse software quickly.
- Must be available for Shift Work and willing to work overtime during peak seasons.
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing is a plus but not required.
