Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners to process inventory.
- Load and Unload Freight: Handle incoming and outgoing shipments with care, ensuring accuracy and safety standards are met.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, stock organization, and maintain accurate digital records of stock levels.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure proper packaging to prevent loss during transit.
- Maintain Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and cross-functional departments to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but no experience is required for entry-level positions.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Skills: Basic math skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
