Responsibilities
- Receive and Process Stock: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy, then log them into the inventory management system.
- Pick, Pack, and Ship: Efficiently fulfill customer orders, ensuring proper labeling and packaging for safe delivery.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels in the warehouse.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Identify discrepancies in inventory and resolve issues with the logistics team.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Reliability: Must be punctual and have a consistent work history.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to understand instructions and complete paperwork.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification is a plus.
