Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring all packages are handled with care and accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels and organize warehouse storage areas efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and ensure proper labeling.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery safely.
- Customer Service: Assist customers with inquiries regarding orders and product locations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not strictly required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus; however, we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable mode of transportation to the Chicago location.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if necessary.
