Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from trailers, trucks, and railcars using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify incoming inventory against shipping documents to ensure accuracy and prevent loss.
- Organize stock in the warehouse efficiently to optimize picking and packing processes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Operate scanning equipment and handheld computers to process shipments and update inventory systems.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and efficiency goals.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills required for inventory counting.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate.
- Must have a reliable means of transportation to and from the facility.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (loading dock) and overtime when necessary.
