Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently fulfill customer orders by locating items, packaging them securely, and preparing them for shipping.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before dispatch.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse guidelines to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, including inventory counts and equipment maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Driver's License: Valid Texas Driver's License (Class C) is a plus.
